Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team located in Burr Ridge IL or Tonawanda, NY. This position on our Clinical Team is focused on driving commercialization of our NOxBOXi/Noxivent product portfolio as well as new products and services.



Responsibilities:


  • You will independently write clear and concise technical reports and analyses, protocols, work instructions, manuals, etc. under minimal supervision with a strong attention to detail.
  • Interpret medical device regulations and work under a formal Quality Management System.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, peers, customers, and others.
  • Develop and assemble test systems for verification and validation testing based on medical device product requirements and specifications.
  • You will conduct experiments and support data collection and analysis.
  • Troubleshoot complex theoretical and practical problems.
  • Proactively consult other functional representatives for information and guidance as needed.
  • Track tasks and information in an organized manner to maintain timelines and meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the medical device product line and assist with implementation.
  • Provide support when needed to the clinical team, R&D, quality, regulatory, marketing, legal, and management to maintain and grow the medical device product line.
  • Maintain confidential information


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree. Considerable professional experience and demonstrated proficiency may be substituted for four-year degree.
  • Expert in Office 365 tools for data handling and document preparation.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large, cross-functional teams.
  • The ideal candidate should understand medical device testing/development process and have experience testing devices, creating technical guides and other documentation.
  • Experience with medical device development programs and the regulatory submission process a plus.
  • Experience with medical device electromechanical design and software development a plus.
  • Experience working with medical/respiratory devices preferred.
  • Copywriting experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel required
