Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team located in Burr Ridge IL or Tonawanda, NY. This position on our Clinical Team is focused on driving commercialization of our NOxBOXi/Noxivent product portfolio as well as new products and services.
Responsibilities:
- You will independently write clear and concise technical reports and analyses, protocols, work instructions, manuals, etc. under minimal supervision with a strong attention to detail.
- Interpret medical device regulations and work under a formal Quality Management System.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, peers, customers, and others.
- Develop and assemble test systems for verification and validation testing based on medical device product requirements and specifications.
- You will conduct experiments and support data collection and analysis.
- Troubleshoot complex theoretical and practical problems.
- Proactively consult other functional representatives for information and guidance as needed.
- Track tasks and information in an organized manner to maintain timelines and meet aggressive deadlines.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the medical device product line and assist with implementation.
- Provide support when needed to the clinical team, R&D, quality, regulatory, marketing, legal, and management to maintain and grow the medical device product line.
- Maintain confidential information
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree. Considerable professional experience and demonstrated proficiency may be substituted for four-year degree.
- Expert in Office 365 tools for data handling and document preparation.
- Demonstrated experience working with large, cross-functional teams.
- The ideal candidate should understand medical device testing/development process and have experience testing devices, creating technical guides and other documentation.
- Experience with medical device development programs and the regulatory submission process a plus.
- Experience with medical device electromechanical design and software development a plus.
- Experience working with medical/respiratory devices preferred.
- Copywriting experience preferred.
- Ability to travel required
