As a Senior Regional Sales Manager for Crown Data Systems, you will be responsible for closing business with existing customers and onboarding new customers in a thriving B2B marketplace. You will also be managing a sales representative and will be responsible for ensuring they embrace the importance of relationship selling and the sales processes that lead to success.

Responsibilities

  • New Business Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within their designated sales territory.
  • Client Account Management: Manage and maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Call on all prospects and customers via telephone and some travel within the given territory
  • Implement and monitor a successful sales process from the time of interest to the closing of opportunities
  • Demonstrate the ability to create relationship throughout customer and prospect organizations
  • Performance Goals: Meet or exceed sales quotas and targets for their sales territory.
  • Motivate and energize the sales representative(s) on your team to make proactive decisions in all their communications with prospects and existing customers.
  • Closing Deals: Negotiate contracts and close sales.
  • Create and provide weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Create monthly and quarterly reports reflecting sales, prospects, customer-touch records, etc. as directed by Vice President of Sales & Business Development and President
  • Work closely with Vice President of Sales & Business Development to assess the competitive landscape and institute changes to the sales program in response to competitors’ changes
  • Travel: Travel one week each every 4-6 weeks to meet with prospects and current clients within their sales territory.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in marketing or related field
  • Formal sales training
  • 5+ years of successful SaaS sales experience
  • CRM systems knowledge (Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Background in the software and/or transportation industry is a plus
  • 25% travel (may vary at times depending on company goals or new initiatives)
