Position Overview: The IT Manager will oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, manage support tickets, and ensure the security and efficiency of our network systems. This role requires a proactive leader with a strong technical background, capable of both managing a team and directly handling complex IT issues.



Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Operations Management:
  • Lead the IT department in developing and implementing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to optimize value and ROI.
  • Establish IT governance frameworks to ensure initiatives meet business goals.
  • Technical Support:
  • Actively participate in resolving IT support requests from employees, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Provide hands-on support for hardware and software issues, including PCs, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
  • Oversee the IT helpdesk, ensuring high-quality service delivery and user satisfaction.
  • Network Engineering and Security:
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.
  • Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other protective measures.
  • Monitor network performance and security, addressing vulnerabilities and optimizing system performance.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Manage and mentor IT staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to understand IT needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain system integrity and security.


Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on network engineering and security.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in network infrastructure design and management, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
  • Experience with enterprise-level IT support and helpdesk management.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
  • Certifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent are preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
