Heating Air Conditioning Technician

Overview:

The HVAC Service Technician, reporting to the Operations Manager, is responsible for delivering high-quality service by conducting repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance for residential and commercial HVAC systems. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and system reliability. This position allows for continued opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Overtime opportunities available.

We are currently seeking HVAC Technicians with a D2 or S2 licenses to maintain, trouble shoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heat pumps, oil/gas boilers, furnaces, AC units, and ductwork.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues, solutions, and maintenance tips to clients.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company policies.
• Accurately document work performed and maintain detailed service records using Housecall Pro.
• Collaborate with team members to complete complex installations and repairs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• Minimum of 4 years of HVAC experience in installation, maintenance, or repair.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for heating and cooling systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments (attics, rooftops, crawl spaces).
