Job Title: Mechanical Chiller Maintenance Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled HVAC Chiller Service Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on chiller and boiler units, as well as major repairs on chillers and boilers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of centrifugal, screw, reciprocating, and scroll chillers, air-cooled and water-cooled systems, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and unitary HVAC equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on chiller and boiler units, including supporting equipment such as chillers, compressors, purge units, cooling towers, pumps/motors, valves, boilers, and unitary equipment.
  • Excellent record keeping, including refrigeration and operation logs.
  • Perform major repairs on chillers and boilers, following all EPA guidelines in recovering refrigerant, replacement of O-rings, gaskets, seals, and bearings.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Post-secondary vocational or technical school diploma in HVAC or Refrigeration from an accredited institution preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with a focus on chiller and boiler systems.
  • EPA Certified and valid driver's license required.
