Position Title: Principal Architect(.NET/Azure Architect)

Location: Georgia (GA) or New Jersey (NJ)

Job Type: Contract to Hire

About the Client: Our client is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes and healthcare delivery through innovative technology solutions. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer to join their dynamic team and contribute to their mission of transforming healthcare through cutting-edge software and data analytics.

Position Overview: As a Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting, developing, and deploying .NET applications on the Azure platform. You will leverage your expertise in data analytics to drive insights and support decision-making processes. This position requires a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and product development. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributor capable of leading projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, design, and implement .NET applications on the Azure platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Utilize strong data analytics skills to analyze and interpret complex datasets, providing actionable insights to improve healthcare outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop technical specifications.
  • Lead and participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security protocols throughout the development process.
  • Act as a technical mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and developers.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing your technical skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with product management and other teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience as a .NET Architect, with a strong focus on the Azure cloud platform.
  • Proficient in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong background in data analytics, with experience in tools such as Power BI, SQL, and Azure Data Services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
  • Deep understanding of the SDLC and experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as an individual contributor.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus, but not required.
