Job Title: High Voltage System Engineer

Location: Peoria, IL (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract


Job Description/ Responsibilities

Electrical engineering, with extensive background in System design, testing and product development,

  1. Develop of design documents for of high, medium, and low voltage electrical solutions: AutoCAD 2D drawings, calculation memories, specification documents (Such as: Single line diagrams, substation details, power distribution, grounding, lighting, etc).
  2. Maintenance & construction departments helping with project task planning and substation switchgear and transformer testing activities, such as: Insulation resistance (megger), transformer turns ratio (TTR), AC& DC dielectric strength (Hipot), VLF, Contact resistance (ducter), ground resistance testing, GIS high speed contact test, etc.
  3. Conceptual AutoCAD engineering drawings.
  4. Low voltage switchgear and Motor control centers, safety and performance testing. Includes: Full Power thermal performance, Short circuit (up to 65kA rating), Seismic applications, Insulation resistance (megger).
  5. certification testing with UL & CSA agencies
