Commercial Refrigeration Technician

Location: Oak Creek

Salary: $40-50 per hour (negotiable based upon experience)

Our client, a leading service provider in the commercial refrigeration industry, is seeking a Refrigeration Technicians to join their growing team. You’ll have the chance to perform installation, service, and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring top-notch performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Installation & Maintenance: Perform installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in and reach-in coolers/freezers, display coolers/freezers, and ice machines. Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues with various refrigeration systems to ensure smooth operations. Service Excellence: Deliver quality service during each call, addressing new and unique challenges while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Emergency Response: Be available on a rotating basis to handle urgent service calls, including nights and weekends. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, time logs, and communicate with the team to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. HVAC Certification and CFC Refrigeration Certification required (must be maintained). Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, maneuver heavier items, work at heights, and navigate small crawl spaces. Strong multitasking and time management skills to handle multiple service calls efficiently. Basic computer skills and familiarity with smart devices for work-related tasks. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass all necessary drug tests. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
