LRS is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to spearhead our growing Construction Management (CM) practice. Position Overview: The Director of Construction Management is responsible for leading and managing the construction management division of LRS Federal. Responsibilities include management of construction managers, inspectors, and construction support staff throughout the United States, business development, project management, QA/QC, staffing, personnel, client relations, financial performance, and business planning.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic vision and leadership to the CM practice, aligning with LRS's overall business objectives.

• Manage and mentor a team of CM professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

• Assist with proposal preparation by utilizing technical writing skills for task proposals, expressions of interest, and technical proposals.

• Develop project plans and budgets.

• Drive business development efforts, identifying and pursuing new opportunities for growth

• Nurture and expand client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and loyalty

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage LRS's full suite of services

• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, advising the firm and clients accordingly

• Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to and that all personnel on the team are well-informed of any changes.


Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on federal sector

• Proven track record of leading successful CM teams and driving business growth

• Strong understanding of construction processes, trends, and best practices

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships

• Business development acumen, with a network of industry contacts

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

• PE or CCM preferred


Work Environment: LRS Federal is headquartered in Severna Park, Maryland. Ideally, the position will report to the headquarters office Monday-Thursday; however, hybrid or remote options will be considered. Travel to client sites and industry conferences will be required and will be reimbursed. A company-issued credit card is offered for corporate travel requirements.


Compensation and Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience and full benefits package including medical, vision and dental insurance, paid time off and holidays, and 401k.
