The Marketing Manager, in conjunction with the Social Media Coordinator, for Becovic Management Group manages the entire marketing processes for the Indiana and Florida portfolio. Based out of our Fishers office, this position allows for flexibility in scheduling and excellent opportunity for advancement.


JOB SUMMARY:


The MARKETING MANAGER is the company’s sales marketing representative whose primary duties are to effectively market the management company and communities, professionally present the features and benefits of the Becovic communities, maintain and increase online presence, effectively manage social media, maintain and manage website data and design marketing materials.  A MARKETING MANAGER is very creative individual and strives to maintain up to date marketing measures at all times.  It is imperative that the MARKETING MANAGER maintain a positive, professional attitude at all times.  The MARKETING MANAGER will contact the Vice President should any situation warrant an action or decision not included in his or her duties and responsibilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Online Marketing Management

  • Maintains management and community websites; ensuring up to date at all times.
  • Weekly online blog updates on website.
  • Ensures accuracy of all information presented on websites.
  • Maintain and monitor Search Engine Optimization.
  • Ensures website is in line with industry trends at all times by analyzing and reviewing competitor’s sites on a frequent basis.
  • Ensure property online advertisers always contain accurate and up to date information (i.e. Apartment Guide, For Rent, etc.)
  • Generate positive resident reviews and reputation management with online sites.
  • Track and report measures of success.



General Marketing

  • Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends.  Contributes ideas to the Regional Property Director and Property Directors for marketing property and for improving resident satisfaction and retention
  • Online reputation management.
  • Works closely with and assists Property Director’s with ideas and overall marketing strategies, acting as a marketing liaison.
  • Responsible for monthly marketing plans.
  • Tracking and monitoring of all advertising sources, marketing promotions, events and objectives.  Provide feedback for sources that are not performing.
  • Creating and developing collateral marketing materials including brochures, flyers, banners, etc. Order materials as necessary.


Social Media

  • Responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of strategic social media initiatives, including marketing campaigns and integrating social media into the overall business strategy. u that the Social Media Coordinator is executing strategies in line with our core values and initiatives.
  • Assist in the search and production of unique content to engage our Social Media sites.  Keep up to date on the most recent information regarding the Social Media site and how best to maximize customer engagement and growth. Understand the online community and provide information and insight into the current platforms as well as any up and coming items that would enhance our overall brand image.
  • Help develop tactics that will enhance our social media growth.
  • Stay up to date on all relevant industry trends – including competitor and industry blogs, social sites and other web activity. 
  • Provide a monthly snapshot to President and Regional Director of current social media company trends and plans in this area for additional marketing and growth.


General

  • Performs any additional duties assigned by the Regional Property Director or President.
  • Assists with general administrative office duties as needed.
  • Develop and implement company -wide community events, manage volunteer committees.
  • Photograph editing as needed
  • Ordering of branded items such as brochures, mugs, various marketing materials.



Qualifications

  • Position requires excellent marketing skills and area market knowledge and the persons must have basic computer knowledge.  
  • Computer Skills: Word Processing
  • Office Equipment: Copy Machine, Telephone, Fax Machine
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.  Employee will be required to work a flexible work week.


Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on the specific needs of the day.  Estimate 60% of time is spent at desk and 40% on feet.

Driving/Travel Requirements

  • Occasional need (1% to 33% of the time) to utilize personal transportation to inspect apartment property and surrounding neighborhood, Indiana Apartment Association events/training sessions, and also visit the corporate office.
  • MUST HAVE VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE

  • High.  Must be able to apply principals of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately followed standardized procedures that may occasionally call for minor deviations.  Needs to think rationally beyond a specific set of instructions.
