As a Senior Workday Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing Workday HCM solutions with a particular focus on using Workday Studio and extending Workday functionalities. You will manage complex API integrations and work closely with various external systems to ensure seamless data exchange and process automation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Workday HCM Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday HCM solutions, including configurations, custom reports, and business processes tailored to our organizational needs.
  • Workday Studio: Utilize Workday Studio to develop and manage complex integrations, creating custom connectors and workflows that extend Workday’s capabilities beyond standard integrations.
  • API Integration: Lead the development of API integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems. Ensure robust, secure, and maintainable integration solutions, including managing data mapping, transformation, and error handling.
  • Extend Workday Functionality: Leverage Workday Extend to create custom applications and enhance Workday’s native capabilities. Develop custom objects, interfaces, and user interfaces to address specific business requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide advanced support for Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, and Benefits. Address technical challenges related to Workday's integration and extension capabilities.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with HR, IT, and business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for integration and customization projects.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve technical issues related to Workday integrations, configurations, and customizations. Provide ongoing support to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Workday integrations, customizations, and extensions to facilitate knowledge transfer and support troubleshooting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Workday releases, features, and best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance system performance and integration reliability.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in HR-related systems development with at least 4 years of hands-on experience specifically with Workday HCM.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Workday HCM configuration, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, and Benefits. Proficient in using Workday Studio and Workday Extend.
  • API Integration: Proven experience in developing and managing complex API integrations between Workday and external systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications: Workday HCM certification(s) preferred.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with other HRIS systems and technologies is a plus.
