Summary


This position is responsible for performing machine maintenance, repairs, tool installations and removals.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install and service production equipment.
  • Perform machine maintenance, repairs, and PM’s.
  • Perform lock out / tag out effectively.
  • Tool installation, verification, adjustments, and removal.
  • Machining, welding, and/or fabrication of replacement parts for production equipment.
  • Design and build test equipment.
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals and other work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Work without direct supervision.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


Education and/or Experience


High school diploma and 4 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; Associate degree preferred.

  • Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively inquiries or complaints
  • Mathematical skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
  • Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of information.
  • Computer skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
