Responsibilities

  • You will contribute to everything embedded including designing the initial prototype through launch, establishing design/development flows, building a team and collaborating closely with electrical, software and ML team members
  • You will architect, design, implement and test embedded software running on a variety of platforms from low power MCUs to mobile SOCs
  • You will contribute to hardware design, bring up and debug through part selection, interface definition, driver development, bring up and debug tooling development and support
  • You will work with the team to innovate in the areas of embedded ML, communication/compression, power management and intelligent sensing
  • You would have autonomy and high growth prospects as part of the early team


Requirements

  • Experience working independently in high ambiguity environments
  • 5+ years of experience owning and delivering software for complex embedded systems
  • Mastery of C/C++, Python, Linux and firmware build & debug tools
  • Experience shipping and supporting a complex product including custom sensors, real time compute, HMI, and custom batteries
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Android/Linux, Zephyr/FreeRTOS, DSP/ISP, Bluetooth, Wifi, Ethernet, USB, MIPI
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • BS or MS in EE, CE, CS or equivalent


Desired/Preferred

  • Experience with wearable electronics, computer vision, audio or IOT applications
  • Experience with CI/CD infrastructure
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks & deployment
