Cloud 9 Solutions is hiring for this role for one of its clients.


This role is part of a team which is responsible for the management of the network infrastructure environment ensuring the appropriate configuration, maintenance, and installation of routers, switches and appliances, hardware, software and tools. Responsible for the health and security of the route switch environment by maintaining the latest patches, updates, configuration and utilizing monitoring systems to help identify issues.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of Internet services, encryption, and network based protocols.
  • Understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies including: TCP/IP DNS, DHCP, VLANS, QoS.
  • Routing Protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), Policy Based Routing, OTV.
  • VPN Configuration and setup (Any Connect and Easy VPN).
  • Background in process engineering and analytical abilities to learn new processes.
  • Familiarity with storage and server virtualization technologies and dependencies to network infrastructure.
  • Cisco IOS, Cisco NXOS, Cisco ACI.
  • Firewall configuration and implementation (ASA and Checkpoint).
  • Wireless troubleshooting (Cisco Wireless Controllers).
  • Supports Fiber Channel Infrastructure (Nexus 5000 series switches).
  • Supports various network appliances (Citrix NetScaler, Cisco WSA, Cisco ESA).
  • Network Documentation using Visio and publishing via SharePoint or Wiki.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and/or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of technical experience in the above qualifications required.
  • Experience in leading technology projects required.
  • ACI Deployment experience preferred.
  • CCNP, CCIE preferred.
  • CISSP preferred.
