Job Summary: We are seeking experienced technologist with networking, systems and security administration. They will need to collaborate with other teams to plan and execute project work. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our IT systems. Additionally, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our on prem infrastructure and will support the expansion of our cloud footprint.


Responsibilities:

  1. Network Management
  2. Systems Management
  3. Security Administration


Example activities for the responsibilities above include:


  • Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Manage and maintain network attached storage, virtualization, and servers.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of the infrastructure.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement and maintain security measures to protect the on-premises data center from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with team members and management regarding infrastructure status, security incidents, and project updates.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Networking, Systems or Security Administration.
  1. Technology:
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices for networking and security.
  • Subject Matter Expertise with F5, Fortigate, Checkpoint, Cisco, or Nutanix
  1. Certifications:
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent
  1. Security+, Network+
