Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and success of Workplay’s features and functionalities, while also contributing to the development of Howl and managing Mainspace operations. The ideal candidate will manage the product lifecycle from conception to release, coordinate with multiple teams, conduct market research, and oversee product-related activities.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Management for Workplay & Howl:

  • Lead the product development process from ideation through launch, ensuring alignment with Workplay’s vision and goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and marketing to define product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Conduct market research and user feedback sessions to inform product enhancements and new feature development.
  • Monitor product performance and iterate based on user feedback and analytics.
  • Focus on integrating advanced features such as human pose estimation for form feedback and expanding into other sports.


Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Work closely with design, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure product requirements and timelines are met.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across all departments to ensure cohesive product development and delivery.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders and partners to gather insights and foster relationships beneficial to the product's success.


Market Research and Strategy:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, user needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze user feedback and market data to identify opportunities for product improvements and new features.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap that aligns with business goals and market demands.


Coworking Space Management (Mainspace):

  • Oversee the daily operations of our coworking space, ensuring a productive and collaborative environment.
  • Manage relationships with coworking space vendors and service providers.
  • Organize and facilitate internal events and community-building activities within the coworking space.


Community Engagement:

  • Foster a sense of community both within the coworking space and through Howl’s platform features.
  • Engage with users to gather feedback and ensure Workplay and Howl meet the needs of their communities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for community building, enhancing local engagement, and sports.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the roadmap, pricing, packaging, and documentation of new product ideas. By maintaining a good customer and market knowledge, this candidate will be able to successfully build and iterate on our products. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and drive the roadmap for our products
  • Internalize and represent the customers' voice throughout the product lifecycle
  • Collect and measure key product metrics against goals to inform success of each release and plan iterations accordingly
  • Translate market trends into a compelling product direction and vision


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field of study
  • 5+ years' experience in product management
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Slack
