We are dedicated to helping our customers improve solar panel durability and performance by providing testing solutions for all PV technologies. Our expertise lies in solar cell and solar panel defect imaging, and we offer electroluminescence, photoluminescence, and UV fluorescence camera systems for imaging cracked cells and other defects in still images or video. We sell our solutions through the entire PV value chain, including R&D, product development, manufacturing, distribution, field testing, and recycling.  Our systems include cameras, accessories (e.g., drone integration), and custom software to acquire images, enhance them, and automate the detection and quantification of the defects.


Position Summary:

We are seeking an assembly technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience assembling equipment with mechanical, optical, and electrical components.  No remote (at home) work is anticipated.  


Responsibilities:

  • Build, test, package, and ship products to customers
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues
  • Maintain inventory and reorder materials as required
  • Provide product training to customers and demonstrations to potential customers
  • Support customers with technical questions
  • Maintain necessary records and documentation
  • Run tests, diagnostics, and calibrations
  • Analyze operations and offer suggestions for improvement.
  • Support the manufacturing process by developing assembly instructions and providing feedback on production issues
  • Travel to customer sites to provide training and support; some occasional field work may occur at night
  • Hours may vary and include occasional early morning or nighttime work.
  • Other tasks as directed by the supervisor


Qualifications:

·      Ability to work on a small team and deliver to schedule

·      High school degree

·      >2 years work experience performing assembly/mechanical tasks

·      Experience with Spreadsheet and Word Processing programs

·      Experience flying drones is a plus
