Company Description:

The firm is a reputable law firm based in Orland Park, specializing in transactional law. Our firm serves as outside general counsel to businesses, focusing on commercial transactional matters, estate planning, and real estate transactions. We are currently seeking two experienced attorneys to join our team.


Position Summary:

We are looking for attorneys with a minimum of 3 years of transactional experience to handle a variety of legal matters for our clients. The ideal candidates will have experience in commercial transactional law, estate planning, and real estate transactions. One attorney will primarily focus on estate and trusts, while the other will handle commercial transactions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on commercial transactions, estate planning, and real estate matters.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Assist clients in structuring and negotiating business transactions.
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, and probate matters.
  • Handle real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, and leases.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties.


Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of transactional experience.
  • Experience in commercial transactional law, estate planning, and real estate transactions.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Additional Information:

  • This is a full-time position based in our Orland Park office.
  • Candidates must be available to work in-office 4 days a week.
  • We do not have a minimum billable hour requirement, allowing for a more balanced work-life schedule.
