Director of Operations/ Integrator

Standard Water Control Systems seeks to fill our newly created Director of Operations/Integrator position. The Integrator will serve as the right-hand to our Visionary and function as the overall Director of Operations for the company. Our primary objective is to provide peace of mind for our customers and keep their basements dry and safe. Our award-winning services include basement waterproofing, radon mitigation, egress windows, foundation repair, and more

Purpose of the director of operations/integrator

To oversee the daily operations and profitability of Standard Water Control Systems. Drive People Development and Organizational Development.

 

Reporting relationships

This position reports directly to and is accountable to the Visionary.

The following positions report directly to the Director of Operations/Integrator:

  • Sales/ Marketing Manager
  • Office Manager
  • Shop Manager
  • Fractional HR

 

Working conditions

  • This position will be working indoors in an office, indoors in a shop environment, and outdoors. Conditions will range from hot, humid, dry, and cold perhaps on the same day.
  • The noise level in the work environment is quiet most of the time. Hopefully.
  • This position will require occasional duties outside of normal work hours.


Duties and responsibilities

  • Faithfully execute the V/TO, achieving or exceeding planned objectives.
  • Lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.
  • Perform and/or supervise administrative functions including Purchasing, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance, and Managerial Accounting Reports.
  • Integrate all major operating functions of the business. Ensure everyone is rowing together preferably in the same direction.
  • Model the way, always working towards the greater good of the Company.
  • Resolve issues effectively, seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out the problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.
  • Ensure the leadership team is healthy, functional, cohesive, ensuring that everyone is truly adhering to core processes with consistency.
  • Dependably demonstrate a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity.
  • Effectively collaborate with the Visionary and stay on the same page.
  • Confirm that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across the organization.

 

Measures of performance

The Director of Operations/Integrator is performing in an acceptable manner when they accomplish the following criteria.

  • Company revenue is recurring and growing.
  • Company profits are stable and growing.
  • V/TO Goals are met.
  • Organizational Checkup Scores are at goal or trending up and team health goals are met.
