Project Manager


Are you ready to sprint toward patients with us? We’re building our CMC team to support upcoming development, clinical, and commercialization milestones, and we’re looking for a Connecticut-based Project Manager to join the team


This role will support cross-functional project teams executing our CMC and manufacturing strategies. You will track and report project scope/timeline/milestone status associated with technical transfer (analytical/process), regulatory strategies and commitments, product manufacturing, process validation, product testing, capacity planning, drug formulation, clinical trial material manufacture and external partner strategy.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Manages an appropriate number of active projects with regular monitoring and support from upper management, ensuring all assigned projects are delivered on time, and within the revenue and budget.
  • Leads the team to resolve all project issues and resource constraints affecting the portfolio with assistance from upper management. Manages planning and scheduling conflicts among the project team.
  • Partners to develop and maintain integrated project plans. Identifies and communicates interdependencies and critical path activities for the projects.
  • Tracks and monitors key milestones and decision points and works with project team members to meet commitments and drive delivery of project objectives.
  • Effectively communicates with team members and key stakeholders on the status, objectives, risks, and mitigation plans associated with projects.
  • Organizes and maintains team communications including meeting agendas, minutes, decision logs, tasks lists, and risk analyses/mitigation strategies using preferred technologies.
  • Updates and maintains project status tools, including project timelines, action logs, risk registers and dashboards.
  • Champion a culture dedicated to quality, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Maintains strong working relationships with all external representatives.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management of pharmaceutical products. Open also to those with strong technical experience with project management acumen.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills, to effectively convey key updates & issues across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills, including an ability to combine attention to detail with a big picture perspective.
  • Having strong attention to detail and the ability to establish and meet project commitments is crucial.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to drive internal and external progress to meet project commitments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effectively connecting with customers and team members is key.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fluid, and visible environment.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and experience with MS Project is a plus.
  • PMP certification or knowledge of PMBOK preferred.
