Our client, located in North Long Beach, is seeking a Compliance Manager with Project Based Section 8 experience. This is a full-time position located at the company business office.


Areas of Responsibility:

  • HUD Compliance.
  • HOTMA Compliance.
  • MOR Compliance.
  • File Audits.
  • Recertification's/interim certifications.
  • EIV reports.
  • Credit/criminal reporting.
  • Processing repayments.


Qualifications/Experience:

  • Project Based Section 8 and affordable housing management experience as compliance manager, program manager or property manager.
  • Permanent Supportive Housing experience preferred.
  • Experience processing and completing re-certifications at a project-based voucher property.
  • Knowledge of low-Income Housing Tax Credit rules and regulations.
  • General knowledge of laws and standards that apply to property management, including Fair Housing laws, Landlord-Tenant law, OSHA Standards.
  • YARDI, AppFolio or related software experience.
  • HUD Certification a plus
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
