In the last few years, K’UL has seen explosive growth in brand awareness, partnership development, new products and markets. In response to this, we’ve been investing in growth with the plan to double our output in 2025. As such, we are adding to our team, refining our processes and readying to hire our first General Manager.

We are looking for a dynamic person who is motivated to work alongside the owners/founders to learn the business, refine our production processes, and develop our staff.   • Deep industry knowledge of food production processes, systems and regulations
  • Proven success managing a team in a factory environment
  • The drive to shepherd a business through growth and change
  • Solid experience in change management
  • Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning tool (ERP) to manage day-to-day business activities. (experience with ODOO is a plus)

What you’ll be doing

  • As the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the chocolate-making process including, but not limited to:
  • Overseeing all aspects of inventory and inventory systems so that we consistently produce every order on time and to the customer's specifications.
  • Manage the systems and people responsible for purchasing and receiving inventory and supplies so that we never miss a beat on the production floor.
  • Ensure all daily/weekly/monthly production tasks are complete, on time, and conducted to our business’ standards so that our customers are happy and keep coming back 
  • Ensure that the facility has the plans, staffing, training, and certification to meet FSMA standards because we pride ourselves on being organically certified.
  • Refine and oversee the implementation of the facility cleaning plan because, well…we need our facility to sparkle.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan for the facility to ensure that our complex machinery is up to the task.
  • Oversee all aspects of the shipping of products including online orders, local deliveries, and regional shipments.
  • Hire, train and manage production staff & team leads, production manager, QA/QC manager, and Scheduling/Inventory manager.
  • Motivate and support the production team so that they are valued, happy and excited to work.
