Duties:

PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead estimating team to deliver quality take offs, bids, and submittals efficiently through coaching and developing 

• Prepare detailed estimates for multifamily projects

• Review all documents in the bid package

• Define and quantify a comprehensive scope of work for each estimate

• Obtain material pricing by communicating with external vendors

• Identify and communicate all RFI’s to clients in a timely manner and maintain a RFI log for all projects to ensure proper and accurate bids and submittals. 

• Prepare and submit submittal packages, from draft to final set. 

• Prepare project handoff to construction

• Assist project managers in the calculation of change orders to awarded projects

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications

• Experienced in reviewing estimators take offs and proposals

• Experience with RFMS Measure or similar software 

• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortability and capability with Microsoft Excel

• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines

• Experienced in developing JR estimators

• RFMS Measure, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office
