As the Director of Total Rewards, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's approach to compensation & benefits. Responsibilities:


Compensation Program Development:

  • Design and implement a strategic compensation framework aligned with the company's goals, values, and market benchmarks.
  • Develop job architecture, salary structures, and incentive plans to promote internal equity, competitiveness, and performance-driven outcomes.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to ensure our compensation programs remain competitive and adaptive to industry trends.


Benefits Management:

  • Lead the design, evaluation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, retirement, and other fringe benefits.
  • Collaborate with benefits brokers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure program offerings meet the diverse needs of our workforce.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to educate employees on available benefits and promote engagement.


Payroll Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of payroll team including processing, data entry, payroll deductions, tax compliance, and reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll transactions while maintaining confidentiality and security of employee data.
  • Partner with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts and address any discrepancies or issues.


Compliance and Governance:

  • Stay informed of federal, state, and local regulations governing compensation, benefits, and payroll practices.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement internal controls and audits to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity and accuracy.


Employee Communication and Engagement:

  • Develop clear and concise shared service communications to educate employees on compensation, benefits, and payroll programs, promoting transparency and understanding.
  • Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation-related matters, including salary negotiations, promotions, and performance reviews.
  • Foster a culture of recognition and appreciation through the design and implementation of employee recognition programs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards, with a track record of building programs from scratch.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, benefits administration, and payroll management.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), or other relevant certifications preferred.
