New Haven, United States Oxford Royale Full time

Oxford Royale is a leading global provider of elite summer schools. Driven by a firm belief that education is about much more than a formal classroom, we offer young people unparalleled cultural and learning experiences, giving them a window to a world of opportunity.

Oxford Royale is an award-winning British company with a real passion for international education. Each year our team works harder to compile stimulating and rewarding programmes for all ages, bringing together outstanding Teachers, energetic Counsellors, brilliant Guest Speakers and professional support staff.

Teaching is the backbone of each and every Oxford Royale Summer School programme. We are passionate about providing the highest possible quality of teaching that engages and challenges our students to push themselves academically. Our teachers use interactive learning techniques to cultivate student engagement, active contribution and debate. Teachers are expected to bring their own passion and expertise to the programme and should seek to inspire students with excellent subject knowledge and the use of up-to-date resources.

In the Oxford Royale Architecture & Design Programme for Students aged 16-18, Students will develop and apply the core principles of architecture, including planning, design and spatial mapping as they work on design projects, produce a range of architectural drawings and build their professional portfolio as they practice technical drawing and model construction in both manual and digital formats. Students will be immersed in the buildings, colleges, art collections and museums of their chosen Summer School location, and examine case studies which illustrate the development of art and architecture in Europe between the Roman and Norman Conquests, to the architecture of the University in the 20th and 21st centuries.

  • To deliver academic and practical workshops, including leading students in subject-related practical activities or field trips as required
  • To mark assignments and deliver personalised feedback to students
