Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Early Childhood Teacher at ASCEND TO THE HEIGHTS CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER. The Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, providing a safe and supportive learning environment, and promoting the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.


Qualifications

  • Early Childhood Education and Teaching skills
  • Experience working with children
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices
  • Ability to develop and implement curriculum
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children
  • Ability to work collaboratively with parents and colleagues
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Knowledge and experience with ASQ, TS & GOLD
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Ability to pass local and federal background checks
