Our Challenge:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our dynamic team, specializing in the commodity and capital markets sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Java development, with experience in financial applications and a deep understanding of market dynamics.


The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Application Development:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications that support commodity and capital market operations.
  • API Development:
  • Create and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between different systems and services.
  • Database Management:
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) to manage and retrieve financial data efficiently.
  • Market Data Integration:
  • Integrate external market data feeds and services to provide real-time data to applications, ensuring accuracy and performance.
  • Testing & Debugging:
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing to ensure code quality and application reliability.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, DevOps, and quality assurance, to gather requirements and deliver innovative software solutions.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, APIs, and system architecture for future reference and onboarding purposes.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in Java development and financial markets to enhance existing applications and processes.


Requirements:

You are:

  • A Java Developer with proven experience in developing applications for the commodity and capital markets.
  • Proficient in Java and familiar with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
  • Experienced in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledgeable in database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and data modeling.
  • Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Having a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in software development, particularly in financial services.



It would be great if you also had:
