Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Job Summary:
RevSpring is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the accounting team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting key financial data. This position will play a key role in financial reporting and developing financial metrics to measure and improve business operations.
Essential Functions:
- Coordination and preparation of reports, presentations, and analysis intended to communicate selected financial data to Senior Management
- Coordinate our pricing strategy in creating, streamlining, and approving pricing and SOWs as standard practice
- Support organization in key decision-making processes by providing independent financial and operational analysis and judgment
- Coordinate and prepare internal and external pricing presentations
- Complete other ad-hoc finance projects and analyses, as needed or assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
Ability to summarize and analyze complex data from various sources into meaningful reports and analyses
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills, both oral and written
Advanced Microsoft Excel user
Ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines, and achieve effective results in a fast-paced environment
Willingness and ability to work after hours as needed
Ability to establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships
Strong accounting and analytical skills
Understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus
Up to 10% travel may be required
SaaS Technology Experience:
Familiarity with SaaS business models and revenue recognition principles
Experience working with SaaS metrics such as MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue), ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), and CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)
Ability to analyze financial performance and operational efficiency within a SaaS environment
Power BI Dashboard and KPI Experience:
Proficiency in developing and managing Power BI dashboards and reports
Experience in creating and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business insights and decisions
Ability to integrate and visualize data from multiple sources to support financial and operational analyses
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Experience:
5+ years of relevant experience in pricing or financial analysis and reporting
Solid experience demonstrating problem-solving and critical thinking
Experience working in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
Supervision: N/A
Certifications: N/A
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
