Arteche USA is looking for: Sales Engineer for electrical industry
Positions details:
- Location: USA
- Reports To: Arteche USA Sales Director
- English required / Spanish is a plus
- Availability to travel throughout the assigned territory. Sporadic travel to Mexico might also be required.
- Can be located anywhere in the United States, but preferably in the East
- applicants should be permanent residents or US citizens
Position Overview:
As a Sales Engineer you will play a critical role in driving the growth of Arteche with a track record of exceptional sales performance and a deep understanding of the electric industry, you will work closely with the Sales Manager to expand the customer base, develop relationships, and meet and exceed sales targets. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to Arteche's success in North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the USA.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and targeting new prospects. Leverage your network and industry knowledge to expand Arteche's customer base.
- Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of Arteche's product portfolio, Provide technical support to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
- Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking and prioritizing leads, opportunities, and projects. Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate forecasting.
- Proposal Development: Coordinate and deliver technical and commercial proposals and quotations to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of Arteche's products and solutions.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in power quality to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Customer Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to enhance their understanding of Arteche's products and their applications.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful project execution.
- Market Insights: Gather market intelligence and provide feedback to Arteche's management team regarding market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- To distribute the existing customers, it's important to consider geographical proximity and the nature of the relationships established with these customers.
- Travel: Recognize that travel may be required, depending on client needs and complexity of projects. International travel will be required.
- Regular Meetings: Schedule regular meetings between the Regional Sales Director and the new Sales Engineer to review customer accounts, share progress and address any challenges.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience in the electrical industry, preferably specifically in High and Medium voltage transformers.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Strong technical background and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical interlocutors.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Willingness to travel when necessary.
