We’re seeking an efficient and organized Logistics Coordinator to streamline shipment automation, container calculations, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills to manage and track thousands of shipments, optimize logistics workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and automate shipment processing using appropriate software while coordinating and tracking the movement of goods.
  • Calculate container requirements based on unit counts and budget accordingly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and optimize logistics procedures, with a focus on automating manual tasks.
  • Develop detailed reports using Excel and SQL queries, analyzing costs, rates, and other logistics data.
  • Conduct data analysis and consolidation to support strategic decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Learn and implement new reporting tools to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in logistics coordination, ideally within manufacturing, retail, inventory, or wholesale industries.
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL for report generation and data processing. Experience with Crystal Reporting, Tableau, or PowerBI is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of database queries and pivot tables.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and automate processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in clear and actionable reports.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
