We are currently hiring a Customer Service Representative to work onsite at our Corporate office in Danbury, Connecticut. In this role, you will work with outside sales staff to support territory growth and provide top-notch customer service to our business customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responds to distributors, OEMs, and Field Sales inquiries regarding price and delivery of orders;
- Sends assembly instructions and customer drawings as required;
- Reviews vendor managed accounts with our key customers;
- Provides required weekly status reports to key customers and internal departments;
- Builds supportive relationships with field service and all other Amphenol staff;
- Alerts field staff to key opportunities and critical problems;
- Collects competitive intelligence, including past quotations and purchase history.
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of similar work experience, preferably with a large manufacturer or other high tech industry;
- Computer proficient, including frequent use of MS Suite (Windows) and Google Business. Can type quickly and accurately;
- AS400 and EDI experience are highly desirable;
- You are positive, energetic, and pro-active, with excellent communication skills and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Punctual and reliable, able to commute daily to Danbury (Connecticut).
- Must be willing to undergo background check and drug test.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
