My client serves the manufacturing industry with a deep-rooted, loyal (and growing) customer base.
***Leadership Experience, and Experience with Embedded C are both REQUIRED.
SALARY / BENEFITS: This role is budgeted for 125k-140k salary plus a 20% bonus for a max top cash compensation of $168,000. There is also a 4% 401k match.
(this role also offers the potential for a small relocation package for an exceptional candidate)
LOCATION: This position is ON SITE in the Greater Syracuse/Auburn NY area.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of professional experience in development of embedded firmware in C language.
- 2+ years of professional experience in embedded software management.
- Working knowledge of and capability to read electrical schematics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to influence others without direct authority and hold others accountable.
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:
Our manufacturing client in the Greater Syracuse/Auburn NY area is searching for a strong "hands on" Software Engineering Manager to lead an embedded team. The ideal candidate is someone that has led teams of 3-10 direct reports and has STRONG experience creating, building and integrating KPI's and SOP’s for an embedded team.
