Job Title: Senior Estimator

Job Location: Torrance, CA (WFH 1x a week)

Salary: $170K-$190K + Bonus (DOE)

Requirements: 7+ years of Estimating experience

Our family-owned company has been around for over 50 years servicing Southern California Since our inception we have successfully completed over 1,000 projects of varying scope and size. These projects have included institutional, commercial, and industrial projects as well as reconstruction and specialty developments. By maintaining commitments and exceeding expectations we have earned a reputation for service, reliability and excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Oversee the project from first estimate through subcontract finalization
  • Prepare instructions to bidders, bid form and other bid solicitation information as

required.

  • Manage the bid process on negotiated, GMP, and lump sum projects
  • Participate in the preparation and presentation of cost/budget information to the

customer/owner.

  • Lead estimate / preconstruction handoff meetings between the preconstruction team and

the project team.

What You Need For This Position

  • 7+ years of construction experience
  • Commercial, industrial experience
  • Office/TI, Retail, Education, Healthcare, Hospitality, Warehouse/Distribution, etc.
  • Scheduling experience
  • Conceptual/Hard bid estimating
  • Client facing experience for BD meetings as technical sales
