About the JobClient: Leading Energy & Utilities OrganizationLocation: Newark, DE (Hybrid – ~2 weeks per month onsite)Duration: 24-Month Contract with potential to convertOur client is seeking an SAP Procurement Subject Matter Expert (SME) with advanced SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) expertise and a strong background in procurement transformation. This role serves as the strategic lead for SAP procurement design, optimization, and integration within a highly regulated utilities environment.Key Highlights:Serve as the Procurement SME, leading SAP S/4HANA configuration, implementation, and optimization across MM and Inventory modules.Design and deploy advanced procurement workflows, including automated approval routing, catalog management, and supplier collaboration tools.Lead procurement transformation initiatives, developing policies, category management frameworks, and supplier performance systems.Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and S/4HANA transformation projects, ensuring best practices across the procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle.Partner with stakeholders to design procurement KPIs, governance models, and strategic sourcing roadmaps.Provide expert consulting, training, and change management support for business process transformation.Develop advanced analytics and reporting using SAP Query, SAP BW, or SAP Analytics Cloud.Qualifications:Education & Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).SAP Certification (Required):SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement ORSAP Certified Application Professional – Materials Management (MM).Professional Certifications (must hold at least two):CPIM, CSCP, CTSC (APICS/ASCM)CPSM (ISM)CSCMP CertificationPMP (PMI)Experience:10–15 years of progressive procurement and supply chain experience.7+ years of advanced, hands-on SAP MM/SCM implementation and configuration experience.5+ years in a consulting or advisory capacity with a proven record of delivering procurement transformation.Experience leading enterprise-level procurement initiatives in the Utilities, Energy, or Oil & Gas sectors.Familiarity with SAP integration points (SD, PP, FI/CO, WM) and enhancement techniques (User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs).Proficiency with SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics, and data reporting tools.Technical Competencies:Expert in source-to-pay (S2P) and procure-to-pay (P2P) process optimization.Advanced knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management, and contract lifecycle management.Strong command of spend analysis, supplier collaboration, and procurement compliance.Advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables, analytics) and experience with eProcurement platforms (Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, etc.).Consulting & Leadership Skills:Recognized thought leader or subject matter expert in procurement and SAP transformation.Strong executive communication and presentation capabilities.Ability to lead change management and guide clients through process transformation.Proven success delivering measurable client impact in a consulting capacity.Additional Details:Start Date: January 2025Work Schedule: 40 hours per week (First Shift)Travel: Approximately 2 weeks per month to Newark, DE (company covers travel & lodging if not local).Residency Requirement: Must reside in DE, MD, PA, NC, NJ, VA, TX, FL, IL, or OH.Only U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders will be considered.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive base compensationAllied Resources Technical Consultants (ARTC) benefits packagePaid time off, holidays, and a separate bank of sick time (3 weeks PTO annually)401(k), health, dental, and vision coverageEEO Policy:Allied Resources complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) affirmative action laws and regulations.
