Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Superintendent located in the Sioux City region or nationally depending on your travel capabilities. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site construction activities, including quality assurance and safety compliance, schedule management, and team leadership. Daily tasks will include communicating with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, as well as managing construction teams and ensuring that all construction activities adhere to industry standards and regulations.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience working in commercial construction on medium to large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in commercial construction management in a role such as site superintendent, on site field engineer, or on site project engineer.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction trades, construction management techniques, and project management software
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with project teams, subcontractors, and clients with diverse backgrounds
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Experience managing safety compliance requirements on construction sites
  • Strong leadership ability and experience managing construction teams of various sizes
