We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join the legal team. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for law and a desire to contribute to the success of a dynamic legal team.


Responsibilities:

  • Draft and electronically file legal pleadings, including Summons and Complaints, Stipulated Agreements, Bank Garnishments
  • Draft, electronically file, and issue copies of letters, pleadings, and other documents in support of the collections and legal process;
  • Assist attorneys with managing their calendar and staying on top of deadlines
  • Under the guidance of the attorney, draft correspondence to clients
  • Draft legal documents and responses to legal documents under the attorney's supervision
  • Review and respond to client requests
  • Coordinate with service processors


Qualifications:

  • Preferably someone with at least three years experience as a Paralegal;
  • Tech-Savvy;
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Notary Public is a plus (NY or FL)
  • Experience with filings in NY and FL is preferred, but not required.
