Contract Specialist – Legal

Reports to Assistant General Counsel


Job Responsibilities

Manage, review, and negotiate a broad range of global commercial agreements, including professional services contracts, vendor contracts, subcontractor agreements, data privacy agreements, and security agreements.

Analyze and resolve legal issues that arise in existing domestic and international commercial relationships. Work collaboratively and provide strategic and legal guidance to cross-functional departments including sales, project teams, IT, risk management, and insurance.

Position involves direct negotiation with client representatives on contract terms.

Secondary Responsibilities include management of internal Data Privacy management and ESG measurement platforms.


Qualifications

2+ years of relevant experience as a Contract Specialist/Manager or paralegal.

Bachelors Degree

If attorney, must be licensed in any state

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Strong negotiation skills required

Strong organizational skills and capability to multitask and prioritize assignments.

Self-motivated and proactive

Ability to work independently and reliably under tight timeframes

Experience with both US and international data privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA

Bi-lingual a plus
