Key Responsibilities:

  • Report Generation and Data Analysis (25%):
  • Develop and run various reports to monitor IT asset compliance, including software compliance and machine check-ins.
  • Generate ad hoc reports based on requests, such as identifying managers with multiple laptops.
  • Purchasing and Procurement (50%):
  • Manage the procurement process for hardware and software licenses, including obtaining quotes from vendors and creating purchase orders (POs).
  • Analyze software and hardware needs to ensure accurate and cost-effective purchases.
  • Asset Management (25%):
  • Oversee the reception of new equipment, ensuring it is correctly logged and managed.
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory, ensuring all equipment is accounted for and properly tracked.


Technical Skills Needed:

  • Service Desk Analysis: Experience in analyzing and supporting service desk operations.
  • Reporting: Proficiency in generating and interpreting reports related to IT assets and compliance.
  • Purchasing Experience: Experience in purchasing hardware and software, including vendor interaction and PO creation.
  • Asset Management: Expertise in managing IT asset inventory and tracking.
  • Excel: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis.
  • ServiceNow: Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
  • SCCM and AD: Experience with SCCM and Active Directory is advantageous.


Additional Information:

  • Training: Allocate time to understand current processes and ensure Compucom’s success through effective support and training.
  • Equipment Management: Responsible for managing incoming inventory, including auditing and ensuring the equipment is properly accounted for.
  • Data Integration: Utilize Excel and tools like SCCM, AD, or ServiceNow for data management and asset tracking.
