Refrigeration Technician

As an Refrigeration Technician, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial and/or industrial refrigeration equipment.

Compensation

• Wage Range Starting at: $28.00+/hr. based on qualifications & experience

Job Duties

• Knowledge of walk-in coolers and freezers, rack systems, draw coolers, prep tables, reach in coolers and freezers and ice machines.
• Performs repairs, overhauls and start-ups of commercial refrigeration systems
• Performs Preventative Maintenance, Site Surveys, Replacement and Modifications
• Control wiring and high voltage
• Interprets blue prints
• Documents work by completing all paperwork on each job
• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, gathering material and coordinating on-site work with customer and dispatcher
• Trouble shoot issues as they arise

Requirements

• 5 + years of experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment
• Communication and customer service skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• EPA Universal Certification
• OSHA 10 (company will provide, if needed)
• General Requirements
• Ability to pass a full background screening including MVR and drug screen
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, as needed
