Job Summary: The E-Commerce Site Merchandiser is accountable for maintaining the site catalog by adding new & updating existing products. The primary focus of this role is to enhance the user experience, improve onsite conversion, and drive sales by ensuring the correct product details are presented to the customer such as images, videos, descriptions, specs, cross-sales, categorization, etc. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a keen eye for product presentation, a passion for e-commerce, and the ability to enhance the digital customer journey.


Responsibilities:

  • Curate and optimize product assortments based on market trends, customer preferences, and sales data.
  • Create new and update existing products on the E-commerce website.
  • Manage and review online merchandise presentation to ensure the categorization, imagery, copy, pricing, and site placement are accurate and meet brand standards.
  • Coordinate with CM Product Merchandising Teams to ensure promotional readiness, inventory availability, etc.
  • Conduct site audits for content accuracy, work with content team to continuously upgrade content.
  • Work with the in-house creative team to help facilitate enhanced product and general content.
  • Create visually appealing and compelling product presentations, ensuring accurate and engaging product descriptions, images, and specifications.
  • Manage cross-sell/upsell product for affinity and appropriateness based on category selling objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze metrics to optimize the customer experience and make suggestions/take action to improve site experience.
  • Work with front-end developers and content team to create landing pages to improve customer education and drive sales.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a merchandising or marketing role
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of ecommerce KPIs and experience with Google Analytics
  • Excellent multitasking, time management, punctuality, and problem-solving skills with exceptional organizational abilities
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills as a part of a larger team and ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders and ensure cross departmental communication.
