Financial Reporting Manager

Our client, a leading consumer products manufacturer, is actively seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join their dynamic team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- analyze, and interpret financial data for reporting purposes in compliance with GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulatory requirements.
- and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- the month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
- with internal departments to gather financial information and provide insights for decision-making.
- in the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and performance evaluation.
- and improve financial reporting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- current with accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend necessary changes or updates.
- external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and resolving inquiries in a timely manner.
- guidance and training to accounting staff on financial reporting processes and procedures.
- opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline financial reporting operations.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.
- of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in the food manufacturing industry or related sectors.
- understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- with ERP systems proficiency in MS Excel
- of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting techniques.
- with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
- experience with external audits
