Brand Marketing and Content Strategist

Intero Chiropractic is seeking a discerning and adaptable Brand Marketing and Content Strategist who can create compelling content with purpose and precision. We're looking for someone who goes beyond surface-level creativity to deeply understand the "why" behind effective content and can adapt quickly in a changing digital landscape.
This position is for those who see content creation as both an art and a science. You'll be our lead content creator and analyst, crafting engaging narratives while constantly questioning and refining your approach based on real-world results. Your ability to reason through complex marketing challenges and adapt your methods will be crucial to our success.
What We're Looking For:
We need a content creator who thinks like an analyst and an analyst who creates like an artist. You should be constantly questioning, learning, and refining your approach. We're not looking for someone who simply follows trends or relies on creativity alone – we want someone who can create with purpose and adapt with reason.
Key Responsibilities:
Purposeful Content Creation:
- Develop content that not only engages but serves a clear, measurable purpose in our marketing funnel.
- Articulate the reasoning behind each piece of content, from conception to execution.
- Continuously refine content based on performance and audience feedback.
Critical Analysis and Adaptation:
- Go beyond surface-level metrics to understand the deeper "why" behind content performance.
- Question industry "best practices" and test their validity for our specific audience.
- Adapt quickly to changes in audience behavior, platform algorithms, and market trends.
Audience Insight Development:
- Develop a nuanced understanding of our audience through both quantitative data and qualitative feedback.
- Create content that resonates on a deeper level by addressing audience needs, fears, and aspirations.
- Continuously refine audience personas based on real-world interactions and content performance.
Cross-Platform Content Optimization:
- Understand the unique characteristics of each platform (social media, email, website) and how they affect content performance.
- Adapt content strategically for each platform while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Identify and capitalize on platform-specific opportunities for increased engagement and conversion.
Performance Analysis and Improvement:
- Develop your own metrics for success that go beyond vanity metrics.
- When content underperforms, conduct thorough root cause analysis to understand why.
- Use insights from both successes and failures to inform future content decisions.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of creating content that drives measurable results, with the ability to explain the reasoning behind your successes.
- Strong critical thinking skills, demonstrated through your approach to content creation and performance analysis.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and challenge conventional wisdom when necessary.
- Deep understanding of various content formats and how to leverage them effectively across different platforms.
- Experience with content performance tracking and the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
