WRTC is looking for a Tax Administrator to work within its Family Wealth Group, which coordinates legal, tax, and financial matters for wealthy individuals and families. Specifically, the group focuses on estate and wealth planning, charitable giving, trust and estate administration, and estate, gift, and income taxation. The Tax Administrator is a full-time position at our office in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.


Responsibilities

  • Assist tax department personnel with day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for tax-related documents, including tax returns, correspondence with tax authorities, and all other relevant records.
  • Assist in data collection and entry into company databases and tax software systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents related to tax and financial matters, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients & third-party advisors, answering inquiries, directing calls, and providing general assistance.
  • Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, distributing materials, and arranging logistics.
  • Assist with the tracking and processing of family office billings.
  • Provide support during tax filing periods by organizing documents, preparing packages for submission, electronic filing, and assisting with any necessary follow-up tasks.
  • Support the tax department in maintaining compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations by assisting with documentation, recordkeeping, and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Prepare summaries, charts, projections, financial statements, and other documents using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other software applications.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives within the tax department as assigned, which may involve data analysis, report preparation, or other tasks to support departmental goals.
  • Work collaboratively with other administrative staff and departments within the organization to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior experience working within an accounting, financial service, or law firm.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience and proficiency working with software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.), Salesforce-based CRM systems, tax return preparation software (GEMS, GoSystems, etc.), and Windows Explorer.
