Job Title: Experiential Learning Program Coordinator

Organization: The Pathway Initiative Inc.

89 South Street, Boston, MA 02111.

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Commitment: Full-Time Contract Position (40 hours per week)

The Pathway Initiative, Inc. (TPI), established in 2021, is an innovative, community-based, non-profit medical education organization. TPI envisions itself as a unique and socially responsible organization, which strives to support African American, Black, Hispanic, and Latinx students on their path to achieving medical education and employment. TPI aims to empower underrepresented individuals to become responsive leaders in the medical field, and worthy exemplars of under-resourced communities.

TPI seeks to engage individuals who are inspired and committed to finding solutions to alleviating the clinician shortage and address healthcare disparities. TPI programming fosters comprehensive support to create better health outcomes, opportunities to identify emerging talent, and demonstrates our commitment to the values of justice, equity, and inclusion.

Leadership

The TPI is managed by civic-minded medical and non-medical professionals who have great concern for public good in general, and the equality of access to healthcare services in the underrepresented communities (i.e., the African American, Hispanic and Latino communities that have long experienced inequality in educational opportunities and healthcare disparities), in particular.
