About the Role


We're looking for a Media Strategist to join the Anvara team. This is a very dynamic business-oriented role at a high growth, venture-backed advertising & marketing company. You will help plan and execute unique advertising campaigns for our clients across the Anvara organization. 


It is a role that requires deep strategic expertise, curiosity, creativity, and experience working with other media buyers, creative agencies, and brand marketers.


The ideal candidate is highly self-directed and well-versed in the advertising industry. This means experience with RFPs, planning campaigns and media buys, and working with the world's most prominent brands and media agencies - preferably with experience executing unconventional marketing campaigns. They will be comfortable solving problems, reaching out to partners and making connections on behalf of Anvara to access the most powerful and unconventional media placements.

What You'll Do


  • Assist in planning and executing disruptive marketing campaigns for Anvara clients
  • Bring on new advertising clients (brands and media agencies) and source potential deals when you identify opportunities.  
  • Analyze large sets of data and insights to develop regional perspectives on key client needs and inform marketing strategy
  • Make and nurture relationships with top brands and media agencies
  • Work to expand the Anvara media network and add new potential media placement opportunities
  • Work in a fast-paced, high growth, dynamic environment surrounded by innovators and problem solvers


Qualifications

  • 1 year+ of experience in brand marketing or media planning or media strategy or media buying for non-digital ad mediums. These include OOH, experiential, or partnerships. If you have experience with other mediums but feel that your experience is relevant, you are encouraged to apply.
  • Thorough knowledge of the media planning, buying, and activation process 
  • Strong presentation and conversational skills
  • Networking ability and preferably a strong network within the marketing industry already
  • Demonstrates optimism, open-mindedness, and a can-do attitude to solve problems and conquer obstacles
  • Most importantly, exhibit craftiness and an ability to find unconventional solutions to complex problems
