Sheet Metal Project Manager


We are a growing mechanical company looking to hire an experienced Sheet Metal Project Manager to join our expanding team. If you're a hard-working professional, our company is perfect for you.


Responsibilities for Construction Project Manager:

  • Determine and define scope of work and deliverables
  • Predict resources needed to complete project
  • Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites
  • Consult with Project Estimator on scope of work and resource requirements
  • Manage costs in order to meet budget
  • Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
  • Manage construction schedule and activities
  • Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
  • Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
  • Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
  • Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors


Qualifications for Construction Project Manager:

  • 5+ years of experience in sheet metal installation and job site management OR as sheet metal project manager
  • Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction software such as Procore and Bluebeam
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction and engineering principles
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control project costs
  • A familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
  • Strong leadership, management and organizational skills
