Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Phlebotomist at BioDiagnostic Labs, Inc. in Toms River, NJ. The Phlebotomist will perform blood collection procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and accurately label and record specimens. They will work closely with the medical team to verify patient information, communicate with healthcare providers, and maintain a clean and organized work area. The Phlebotomist will also assist with other laboratory tasks and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Laboratory Skills, including proper specimen handling and processing
  • Experience in Medical Assisting and familiarity with medical terminology
  • Knowledge of Medicine and the anatomy and physiology of the human body
  • Proficiency in Blood Collection techniques and venipuncture
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately label and record specimens
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare providers
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to patient care and confidentiality
  • Relevant certification or licensure in Phlebotomy or Medical Assisting
  • Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
  • Travel to additional sites when needed
