Pediatric Front Desk Receptionist (Bilingual - Spanish Required)

Job Description:

Total Pediatric Care is seeking a friendly, organized, and bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients and families, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. If you are passionate about helping others, have exceptional customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced pediatric setting, we’d love to hear from you We are looking for someone who is eager to grow within the organization and aspires to become a leader in their role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and families with warmth and professionalism.
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and handling patient inquiries.
  • Assist patients with check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Verify insurance information and check insurance eligibility for patients prior to appointments.
  • Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish, providing clear and compassionate assistance to Spanish-speaking patients and families.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and address any immediate needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Handle copayments and other administrative tasks as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Experience with insurance verification and eligibility checks.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with computer systems and office software.
  • Medical Assistant experience is appreciated.
  • Ambition to grow within the organization and develop leadership skills.
