Our client, an established law firm, is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to assist and provide a range of legal support and administration to lawyers in the area of Family Law.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver superior customer service to each client for the lifecycle of their case
  • Organize and maintain documents in both paper and electronic filing systems
  • Review information received by client and opposing counsel
  • Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions and orders
  • Draft discovery requests and responses
  • Prepare correspondence
  • Check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy
  • Schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, etc.
  • Coordinate with process server for delivery of pleadings, subpoenas, etc.
  • Help with trial preparation including witness lists, exhibits and witness interviews
  • Assist the lawyer in the courtroom, as needed
  • Correspond with opposing counsel, clients, and others
  • Ensure each case is continually moving forward
