The Project Manager will be responsible for managing industrial equipment builds, rebuilds, and retrofits. This role requires maintaining effective communication with the project team, vendors, and clients, as well as collaborating with relevant departments and external partners to complete projects.


Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintain communication with all relevant stakeholders, including the project team, vendors, and clients.
  • Collaborate with departments and vendors to ensure project success.
  • Inspect components received from vendors and ensure finished systems meet quality standards.
  • Travel to on-site installations during construction and commissioning for start-up and troubleshooting.
  • Promote and engage in a safe work environment.
  • Ensure components and assemblies adhere to the contract drawings and customer requirements.
  • Assist in the commission and troubleshooting of the startup of new equipment.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Procure items in order of assembly and/or lead times.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including client equipment manuals, preventative maintenance, and spare parts lists.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget by monitoring the progress of production teams and third parties/vendors.
  • Participate in regular completed job audits to improve quality, delivery, and cost to enhance quote accuracy and profitability.


Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Previous experience managing industrial equipment projects
  • Flexibility to travel regionally to installation sites as needed
